In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure every guest experiences a welcoming and pristine environment. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting. Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently. Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests and staff. Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest satisfaction. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while delivering exceptional custodial service. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, industrial cleaning methods, and custodial practices. Experience working in hotels or similar hospitality environments is a plus. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and steam cleaners safely and effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and moving furniture or supplies as needed. Prior experience in housekeeping management or supervising cleaning staff is advantageous but not required.
