Housekeeping and Laundry Worker

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our facilities, ensuring that all linens and garments are properly laundered and presented to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in a hotel or similar environment and possess a strong work ethic. Duties Perform routine cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and laundry facilities to ensure a clean and welcoming environment. Launder linens, towels, and other items using appropriate washing techniques and equipment. Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store laundry items efficiently. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary. Ensure that all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained in good working condition. Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing all duties. Assist with dry cleaning tasks as needed to ensure high-quality service for guests. Skills Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean thoroughly and efficiently. Experience in laundering techniques, including knowledge of fabric care labels. Familiarity with hotel operations or experience in a similar setting is preferred. Ability to operate laundry machines and cleaning equipment safely. Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated time frames. A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
