Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting. Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels as needed. Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and amenities to ensure guest comfort at all times. Follow established safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures while using cleaning chemicals and equipment. Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management for swift resolution. Support the housekeeping management team in training new staff members and maintaining inventory levels. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles; hotel or hospitality experience is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, industrial cleaning methods, and custodial practices. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Good physical stamina with the ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks. Familiarity with housekeeping management tools or systems is a plus.
