Responsibilities Prepare banquet rooms by cleaning, setting up tables, chairs, linens, and equipment according to event specifications Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, polishing, and specialized floor care techniques to ensure safety and presentation standards are met Assist with the breakdown and cleaning of banquet spaces after events, including trash removal and equipment storage Conduct routine custodial tasks such as dusting, sanitizing surfaces, restocking supplies, and ensuring all areas meet health and safety regulations Support the housekeeping team with additional janitorial duties as needed to uphold the hotel's cleanliness standards Monitor the condition of floors and surfaces during events, addressing spills or debris promptly to prevent hazards Collaborate with event staff to ensure seamless setup and breakdown processes while maintaining a positive guest experience Requirements Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hospitality or industrial setting Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning preferred Prior hotel or hospitality experience highly desirable; familiarity with banquet setup is a plus Strong understanding of cleanliness standards in hospitality environments with attention to detail Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, bending, and walking throughout shifts Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward maintaining a safe and welcoming environment Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations related to custodial work Join us in creating memorable experiences by ensuring our banquet spaces are pristine and inviting!
