Housekeeper

We are presently accepting applications for a Full Time Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant to join our team. You should have excellent customer service skills, good communication skills and be able to work well with others while helping to create a caring and high quality environment for residents. Iroquois Skilled Nursing Community is a premier healthcare provider in Central New York. We are a 160 bed long-term and rehab skilled nursing facility. JOB DUTIES

Responsible for cleaning, dust mop and wet mop, vacuuming, picking up trash and bringing to compactor, dusting. Should be familiar with the equipment in the dry room. Responsible for loading and unloading dryers. Folds linen by hand. Responsible for processing resident's personal clothes. Keeps accurate records of how much linen he/she has processed. May perform other related tasks as required. Required education : High School/equivalent diploma. Required experience : Prior housekeeping/laundry experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
