Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel. This position is essential in providing a welcoming environment for guests and ensuring that all areas are well-kept and presentable. The Porter will be responsible for various cleaning tasks, contributing to the overall hospitality experience. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of all areas within the facility. Maintain cleanliness in guest areas, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces. Assist with floor care including stripping, waxing, and buffing as needed. Ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling materials. Conduct regular inspections to identify cleaning needs and report any maintenance issues. Support housekeeping management by assisting with inventory management of cleaning supplies. Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of cleanliness in accordance with hospitality guidelines. Provide exceptional service to guests by addressing any requests or concerns promptly. Experience Previous experience in custodial or industrial cleaning is preferred but not required. Familiarity with housekeeping management practices within a hotel or hospitality environment is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
