Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment for our hotel guests.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy all areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, bathrooms, common areas, kitchen, and hallways
- Restock amenities
- Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties such as mopping and sweeping
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained and stored properly
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
- Assist with laundry duties as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hotel setting
- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices and procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and techniques
- Hospitality or custodial background is a plus
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
