Housekeeper

Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning of rooms, common areas, and facilities using approved cleaning agents and equipment. Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting surfaces, bathrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas. Conduct residential or commercial cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, window washing, and floor care to ensure pristine environments. Manage laundry services such as washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and clothing items efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest or client requests promptly and professionally. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored; notify management when supplies need replenishing. Follow health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others. Assist with janitorial duties such as trash removal, restroom sanitation, and minor maintenance tasks as needed. Support housekeeping management in maintaining schedules, reporting issues, and ensuring quality standards are met consistently. Experience Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning is highly preferred. Prior janitorial or custodial experience in hotels or hospitality settings is advantageous. Familiarity with floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and polishing hard floors. Experience with laundry operations including handling delicate fabrics and stain removal. Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment. Housekeeping management experience is a plus for supervisory roles overseeing teams of cleaners. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients or guests.
