In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Your dedication to high standards will ensure every guest experiences comfort and cleanliness during their stay. Duties Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, floors, furniture, and fixtures to ensure a pristine environment. Perform floor care duties such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining overall cleanliness of hallways and public areas. Restock amenities like toiletries, towels, and linens to meet guest needs efficiently. Handle janitorial tasks including waste removal, window cleaning, and detailed surface cleaning to uphold high hygiene standards. Follow established procedures for industrial cleaning tasks when necessary, ensuring safety protocols are adhered to at all times. Maintain cleanliness logs and report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management. Support housekeeping management by assisting with inventory control and ensuring supplies are well-stocked. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping within a hotel or hospitality setting is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care and industrial cleaning methods. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Prior hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for delivering exceptional guest service is essential. Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning duties throughout shifts. Familiarity with custodial equipment and safety procedures related to industrial cleaning.
