Housekeeper

Job Summary Be part of a winning team! The Residence Inn Canton, OH is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our team. Guests love our suites, and we need you to use your skills to ensure the hotel is a success! As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, such as public areas and guest rooms. If you have experience in housekeeping management, custodial work, or industrial cleaning, and possess excellent attention to detail and time management skills, we encourage you to apply. Weekends which included Saturday and Sunday are mandatory. Duties

• Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms and common areas
• Change linens and make beds
• Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
• Follow established safety protocols and use appropriate cleaning techniques
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness standards Requirements
• Proven experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred (e.g., hotel, hospitality)
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
• Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
