Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of patient rooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Follow established protocols for environmental services to ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including OSHA guidelines Maintain floor care by sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to ensure surfaces are safe and presentable Restock supplies such as paper products, soap dispensers, and cleaning materials to ensure continuous availability Adhere to janitorial procedures for waste disposal, hazardous material handling, and infection control practices Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing additional attention or maintenance Document completed tasks accurately in logs or digital systems as required Qualifications Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred; experience in healthcare or hospital environments is a plus Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to cleaning and sanitation practices Familiarity with environmental services procedures including disinfecting, waste management, and floor care techniques Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers or carpet extractors safely Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently while following detailed instructions Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts Join us in creating a safe and spotless environment where everyone feels comfortable!
