Housekeeping Associate

University School (Hunting Valley, OH) is seeking a 2nd shift Housekeeping Associate. The Housekeeping Associate will perform housekeeping functions (2nd shift) to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive classrooms, common areas, etc. at the Hunting Valley campus, but may be called upon to work some shifts at the Shaker campus. Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms including flooring/carpeting, tables/desk, boards, equipment, etc. moving furniture to allow for the appropriate cleaning; common areas, restrooms or locker areas as well as checking all doors and windows are locked during the shift as required by the school functions. This position must also have the flexibility to work later and assist the 1st shift when necessary. Qualified candidates must be able to work on a team to clean large common areas. Candidates must also be able to lift or move heavy furniture; be able to stand for long periods of time; be able to kneel, crouch and/or crawl; be able to work around chemical cleaning solutions; and must know how to properly use cleaning equipment such as a vacuum cleaner or floor scrubber. One (1) year housekeeping experience preferred. •2nd shift: 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. Hours during break periods may be adjusted.
