House Cleaner

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic House Cleaner to join our team and help create spotless, welcoming environments for our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards across residential properties, ensuring each space is comfortable, hygienic, and inviting. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and other designated rooms. Execute detailed floor care routines such as vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and carpet cleaning to maintain pristine surfaces. Handle laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items. Ensure all areas are sanitized according to health standards by disinfecting surfaces, fixtures, and high-touch zones. Maintain organization of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is in proper working order for efficient operations. Provide excellent customer service by respecting clients' privacy, preferences, and specific requests during each visit. Assist with light cooking or meal preparation if required by clients in addition to cleaning duties. Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications Proven experience in residential cleaning or janitorial roles; hotel or commercial cleaning experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including sanitation standards, floor care, carpet cleaning, and custodial practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, bending, standing for extended periods, and climbing ladders when necessary. Familiarity with laundry processes and basic cooking skills are desirable but not mandatory. Prior experience with housekeeping management or supervisory roles is advantageous.
