Being non-corporate, we operate as a close-knit team, often sharing family meals and including our staff in various activities. We do not rely on agency staff to maintain continuity; instead, our own staff pick up shifts to ensure adequate staffing. We have a 72-bed skilled nursing facility and a 95-bed assisted living community. Our 25-bed ventilation and trach unit is staffed with Respiratory Care Therapists, nurses, and STNAs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Larchwood Care is looking for an experienced laundry/housekeeping person. This position is primarily in laundry. Must be detail oriented, a team player, and have a passion for helping the elderly population! We are a great place to work! We are committed to our residents and employees. This position starts at $15/hour for experienced laundry/housekeeping staff. We would love to find someone with previous experience working in nursing homes. Responsibilities Process and deliver laundry Clean and tidy all assigned areas to the standard cleanliness within time limits Deliver excellent customer service Report on any shortages, damages or security issues Handle reasonable guests complaints/requests and inform others when required Check stocking levels Comply with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies and licensing laws
