Quality Inn Middleburg Heights is looking for dependable housekeepers who can work fast, clean rooms properly, and show up on time. Hotel experience is preferred. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of our property, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning duties across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Care for floors by sweeping, scrubbing, polishing, and applying appropriate treatments to maintain a pristine appearance. Assist with hotel-related tasks such as moving furniture, setting up event spaces, and delivering supplies to various departments. Conduct routine janitorial tasks to ensure all areas meet health and safety standards; report any maintenance issues promptly. Support housekeeping management by organizing supplies, restocking amenities, and maintaining cleanliness of storage areas. Follow established protocols for industrial cleaning when necessary, utilizing specialized equipment for deep cleans or large-scale projects. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and uphold the highest standards of hospitality service. Requirements Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services; hotel or hospitality experience is highly preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and applying protective finishes. Strong understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures related to industrial cleaning environments. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Ability to work independently or as part of a team with a positive attitude and proactive approach. Prior experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required. Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment.
