Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff. This role is essential in upholding our standards of hospitality and service excellence. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and presentable. Carry out floor care duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as required. Manage laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels. Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and linens in guest rooms and public areas. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow established cleaning protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a timely manner. Skills Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed. Experience in floor care techniques and equipment operation. Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred to understand guest expectations. Familiarity with janitorial practices and industrial cleaning methods is a plus. Custodial experience that demonstrates the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Knowledge of housekeeping management principles is beneficial for those looking to advance within the field.
