POSITION SUMMARY

Properly set, clean and maintain all function rooms, service corridors, storerooms and public function areas in a safe, accident-free manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Correctly and efficiently set up and break down all department functions. (50%) Keep function room area and storage areas clean and neat at all times. (5%) Return all equipment not in use to proper storage area in clean condition before the end of each shift. (5%) Check electrical hook-ups for proper working order and tape down all exposed cords for equipment in use. (5%) Service/freshen all meeting rooms during breaks. (10%) Assist guests whenever possible, referring all requests which are beyond scope of responsibility immediately to supervisor. (5%) Perform periodic deep cleaning of banquet areas. (5%)

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Be familiar with the various types of workable setups for each function room. (5%) Check temperature and see if all lights are working and adjusted properly. (5%) Working knowledge of AV equipment, assist AV person/guest as needed. (5%)

Experience:

Prior labor intensive work experience preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

Ability to speak English. Ability to lift/push/carry 20-50 lbs No.

Flexible. Scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Bending/Kneeling Describe the type(s) of required bending and/or kneeling to include when, why and how often. Ability to bend to lower level cabinets and banquet storage room. Bend to lift trays. Mobility Describe the type(s) of mobility required to include distances and % of time involved. Maneuver in narrow areas and between seated guests. Distance 100 ft - 100% of time. Continuous Standing Describe the reasons to include time period and frequency. Standing required to service guest/functions; 100% of time scheduled. Climbing Stairs Up to approx. 12 steps 20% of 8 hours. Driving Describe type of vehicle, distances, % of time involved and frequency. No Driving Required.
