Duties Perform thorough cleaning of public areas, hallways, lobbies, and guest corridors to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Assist with the setup and breakdown of event spaces and meeting rooms as needed. Support housekeeping staff by replenishing supplies and delivering linens or amenities to guest rooms. Conduct routine floor care including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance. Maintain cleanliness in service areas, storage closets, and janitorial carts to ensure operational efficiency. Follow safety procedures during cleaning tasks and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest safety. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles within hotels or hospitality environments. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, waxing, and polishing. Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies for efficient maintenance tasks. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of hospitality operations and guest service principles is a plus. Physical stamina to perform manual cleaning duties including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
