Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and high standards of cleanliness. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces in guest rooms, common areas, and restrooms. Ensure all areas are well-maintained and presentable, adhering to established cleanliness standards. Manage laundry services including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels. Conduct floor care tasks such as stripping, waxing, and buffing as needed. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a timely manner. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Requirements Previous experience in hospitality or custodial services is preferred. Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills to interact positively with guests and staff. Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is an advantage but not mandatory.
