Housekeeping Attendant

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the hotel's guest rooms.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean, sanitize, and maintain all public areas of the hotel, including lobby, corridors, elevators, restrooms, stairwells, and meeting rooms. Monitor public spaces for cleanliness and safety issues, addressing spills, debris, or maintenance concerns promptly. Assist with setup and teardown of meeting spaces or banquet areas as needed. Ensure trash and recycling receptacles are emptied and properly maintained. Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the appropriate department. Assist housekeeping team with guest room cleaning or special projects when needed. Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring proper storage and usage. Provide excellent guest service by responding to guest inquiries and requests courteously. Follow all company policies and safety procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior housekeeping, custodial, or hospitality experience is a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Positive attitude and strong guest-service orientation. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Working Conditions:

Position requires regular walking, bending, lifting, and standing. Exposure to cleaning chemicals and various temperatures is expected.
