Housekeeping/Laundry Richfield, OH 44286 From $15 an hour - Part-time From $15 an hour - Part-time Overview Join our dynamic team as a Housekeeping and Laundry Associate, where your attention to detail and dedication will ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation across various areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and laundry facilities. Your proactive approach will contribute to the overall comfort and safety of our facility, supporting our commitment to exceptional service and environmental responsibility. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens, towels, and uniforms efficiently Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines and environmental services protocols Ensure all cleaning tools and supplies are stored properly and maintained in good condition Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing additional attention or repair, ensuring a consistently high level of cleanliness Follow proper procedures for waste disposal and chemical handling to promote safety and environmental sustainability Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled or requested by management Skills Proven janitorial or custodial experience in healthcare, hospitality, or commercial settings Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use Strong understanding of sanitation practices and environmental services protocols Experience with floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning Ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report maintenance issues promptly Embark on a rewarding career where your efforts directly impact the comfort and safety of our community.
