Housekeeper

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas including guest rooms, hallways, and common areas. Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to ensure cleanliness and hygiene. Change bed linens and towels, ensuring all items are fresh and well-presented. Clean bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors, using appropriate cleaning supplies. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management. Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing in accordance with health regulations. Assist in laundry duties as needed to ensure timely availability of clean linens. Respond promptly to guest requests for additional services or items. Uphold high standards of cleanliness in accordance with housekeeping management protocols. Qualifications Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services is preferred but not required. Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and hospitality standards is a plus. Familiarity with floor care methods and equipment is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Must be physically capable of performing cleaning duties which may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
