Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Housekeeping Attendant, where your energy and attention to detail will create a welcoming and spotless environment for our guests and residents. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and overall comfort across residential or hospitality spaces. Your proactive approach and dedication will ensure that every area meets the highest standards of hygiene and presentation, contributing to a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors. Avalon Inn is hiring hardworking and dependable Housekeeping Attendants to help maintain clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms and common areas. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels to ensure freshness and availability Maintain floor care by sweeping, polishing, and performing carpet cleaning to preserve a pristine appearance Restock supplies in bathrooms, kitchens, and guest rooms to ensure all essentials are available for residents or guests Ensure all sanitation protocols are followed rigorously to promote health and safety standards Assist with kitchen-related tasks such as light cooking or food prep when required for special events or resident needs Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure timely repairs and uphold quality standards Requirements Proven experience in custodial work, residential cleaning, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning environments Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents or guests Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting heavy objects, and operating cleaning equipment Experience with laundry operations and janitorial tasks preferred Prior housekeeping management experience is a plus but not required Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays as needed Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication transforms spaces into clean, comfortable havens.
