HOUSEKEEPING ATTENDANTS

We're building a dynamic Housekeeping Team for our Holiday Inn Express & Suites Toledo West. The Housekeeping Team Members are responsible for providing a clean & safe environment for guests in all areas of the Hotel. They ensure the cleanliness of the hotel including: guest rooms, hallways, all public areas of the hotel, laundry duties in accordance with IHG Brand Standards and Hotel procedures. The ideal Team Members will have a do whatever it takes attitude and place high value on team effort to provide amazing service to our guests! They won't shy away from interacting with guests and spreading positivity and helpfulness to all. We're looking for Team Members who possess high initiative and ownership of their role in business success.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide a clean and safe environment for Team Members and guests Proactively maintain assigned areas and equipment Clean and maintain common areas of the property including exterior Deep cleaning of assigned areas Setting up and maintaining complimentary Hotel lobby functions Cleaning and setting up meeting room functions Delivering service items to guest rooms upon requests from Front Desk Assist with guest luggage when required Ensure efficient completion of daily assignments in a timely manner Use supplies efficiently and follow IHG Way of Clean to the letter Report all safety, maintenance to Management Attend and participate in all mandatory trainings & Team meetings Ability to be flexible with schedule and daily assignments Knowledge and completion of property cleaning procedures Maintain effective performance under pressure Follow proper procedures for lost and found items Follow guest safety & evacuation procedures Follow guest requests, i.e. respect do not disturb signs, change of linen or terry Greet guests warmly in public spaces and corridors Review daily inventory of supplies needed to complete assignments May perform similar duties as requested by supervisor

Requirements:

Guest service skills & passion for creating memorable guest experiences Ability to work independently and with others Strong communication skills Ability to give and follow verbal and written instructions Attention to details Ability to lift/carry up to 35 lbs. Ability to multi task Ability to stay calm under pressure Ability to work unsupervised when needed Hotel housekeeping or laundry experience preferred Fast learner & ability to adjust to change quickly Dependable Adhere to No Gossip & No Drama policy Please note:

• The working schedule is solely based upon the needs of the hotel business, meaning that the hours worked are directly affected by the hotel's occupancy.
