Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Housekeeper, where your dedication to cleanliness and attention to detail will create a welcoming and pristine environment for our guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness throughout guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Your efforts will directly enhance guest satisfaction and uphold the reputation of our hotel as a clean, comfortable, and inviting destination. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in hospitality and janitorial services while contributing to an exceptional guest experience. Responsibilities Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, floors, furniture, and fixtures to ensure a spotless environment. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and recreational spaces. Perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to keep all surfaces immaculate. Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to ensure guest needs are met promptly. Follow established safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to promote a safe working environment. Report maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to the appropriate departments for prompt resolution. Adhere to hotel policies and standards related to hygiene, sanitation, and customer service excellence. Requirements Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work or janitorial services; hotel experience is highly preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing. Strong understanding of hospitality standards and customer service principles. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, lifting heavy objects, and climbing ladders. Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals; previous janitorial or custodial experience is advantageous. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Prior housekeeping management experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for those eager to grow into leadership roles.
