Cleveland Clinic's Environmental Services (EVS) Department is consistently ranked among the highest-performing EVS teams in healthcare. As Team Lead, you will work to create the comfortable and safe environment our patients have come to expect by ensuring all assigned facility areas are clean, fully stocked and organized. Your efforts help enhance the Cleveland Clinic experience and assist other caregivers in providing attentive patient care. A caregiver in this role works evenings from 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. with every other weekend and holiday rotation requirements. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Conduct general training and orientation for new caregivers in floor care, wall washing, carpet cleaning and special procedures. Assist with scheduling to ensure resource availability and reassign schedules as needed. Inform supervisor of performance concerns and policy violations. Collaborate with Environmental Services Team Leads and management to maintain a sanitary, safe environment. Clean patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces. Follow policies and procedures on patient isolation. Stock paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary or designated. Maintain cart and equipment in clean, working condition and store in appropriate storage area when finished with shift. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: High School Diploma or GED Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others in coordinating multiple tasks One year of experience in Environmental Services or housekeeping role Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Leadership experience or experience providing work direction Strong customer service skills
Physical Requirements:
Requires full body motion, including ability to perform work while lifting, bending, stooping, crouching, squatting, and reaching. Requires continuous walking and standing on hard surfaces. Requires regular handling and use of disinfectants and other cleaning agents and chemicals. Light Work - Exerting 11 to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Pay Range Minimum hourly:
$18.55 Maximum hourly: $24.81 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.).
