Job Description

Join the team at the historic Willoughby House as a Part-Time Innkeeper. This role is perfect for a hospitality professional or local history enthusiast who excels at creating warm, memorable guest experiences. You will serve as the morning weekend host and housekeeper, ensuring smooth property operations and maintaining the high cleanliness standards of our historic accommodation.
Job Type:
Part-time Schedule:
Typically Saturday and Sunday mornings (6:00 AM - 12:00 PM OR 6:00AM - 2:00PM), plus occasional weekday coverage
Location:
Willoughby, OH Job Duties:
Breakfast Service:
Set up and oversee continental breakfast on the Inn's Back Porch.
Guest Hospitality:
Deliver exceptional, warm morning service and answer any checkout questions.
Room Housekeeping:
Strip linens, sanitize bathrooms, dust historic furniture, vacuum, and restock amenities in vacated rooms.
Common Area Care:
Keep the dining room and shared spaces spotless throughout the morning.
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
1+ years of experience in housekeeping, professional cleaning, or hospitality.
Reliability:
Must have dependable weekend morning punctuality and a strong work ethic.
Physical Ability:
Comfortable standing for long periods, bending, lifting laundry bundles, and managing stairs.
Personality:
Cheerful morning demeanor with an eye for detail and high standards of cleanliness.
