Housekeeping and Laundry Worker

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and experience in housekeeping or laundry services, particularly within a hotel setting. Responsibilities Perform cleaning duties in guest rooms, public areas, and laundry facilities to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained. Launder linens, towels, and other items using appropriate washing techniques and equipment. Handle dry cleaning processes as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care. Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report them promptly to management. Restock supplies such as toiletries and linens in guest rooms and common areas. Follow safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in all work areas. Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by management. Qualifications Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably in a hotel environment. Knowledge of cleaning techniques and laundry processes including dry cleaning. Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean effectively and efficiently. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good time management skills to ensure tasks are completed promptly. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting and moving items as necessary.
