Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently. Maintain floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and carpet cleaning to preserve flooring integrity and appearance. Ensure all sanitation protocols are followed meticulously to promote a healthy environment for residents or guests. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing specific cleaning requests and responding promptly to resident or guest needs. Manage janitorial supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing to ensure continuous service. Assist with housekeeping management tasks when needed, including scheduling or training new team members. Qualifications Proven experience in residential cleaning, custodial work, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning environments. Knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation standards across various surfaces and materials. Skills in laundry operations and floor care methods such as carpet cleaning and floor polishing. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively with residents or guests. Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, bending, and reaching. Experience with janitorial equipment and cleaning products; certifications in carpet cleaning or floor care are a plus.
