In this vital role, you will ensure that all areas are spotless, safe, and welcoming for staff, clients, and visitors alike. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will contribute significantly to the overall environment's comfort and hygiene. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies Conduct janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high hygiene standards Carry out floor care procedures including buffing, polishing, stripping, and waxing to maintain pristine flooring conditions Assist with custodial responsibilities related to industrial or commercial cleaning projects as needed Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or safety hazards identified during cleaning routines Use proper techniques for residential painting touch-ups or minor repairs when required to enhance facility appearance Maintain cleanliness equipment and supplies inventory, ensuring all tools are sanitized and stored correctly Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within commercial or residential settings Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and facilities maintenance practices Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward safety and hygiene standards Ability to operate cleaning machinery and equipment safely and efficiently Prior porter or housekeeping experience is highly desirable Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Join us in creating clean, safe environments where everyone feels comfortable!
