Job Description

Job Summary:
Housekeeping/Patient Care Attendant
  • Surgery Department The Housekeeping/Patient Care Attendant (PCA) supports hospital operations by maintaining a clean, safe, and well-stocked environment.
This non-clinical role is essential to patient care through strict adherence to disease control protocols, facility cleaning, laundry, and inventory management. Key Qualifications Compassion for pets and people Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, bending, lifting, cleaning, patient restraint) Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure Primary Responsibilities Clean and disinfect kennels, surgery/prep areas, and public spaces Restock supplies and maintain inventory Receive and stock shipments Perform laundry duties Assist with basic care of boarded or hospitalized patients Animal restraint Surgery set-up/tear down Maintain overall facility cleanliness and organization Schedule Full-time; includes at least one weekend day per week Compensation $18.50

00/hour (DOE) + shift differentials for weekend days.
