Houseman/Porter

Lightwell Hotel + Spa is seeking a reliable and hardworking Houseman/Porter to join our new team in Hood River, OR. The Houseman will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, including guest rooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain guest rooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces Respond to guests' concerns; help increase guest loyalty Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas Report any maintenance issues to management Basic maintenance, including but not limited to replacing lightbulbs, hanging rods, and mattress rotations Follow the safety procedures required by the hotel and the handling of chemicals Help with the set-up and tear-down of events Back-up housekeeping and Laundry as needed Assist guests with any requests or inquiries

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent - A great entry-level position in a hotel. Prior experience in housekeeping or a similar role preferred Willingness to be helpful Enjoys physical job tasks Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and customer service skills Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects
