Room Attendant

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our guest rooms and public areas. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring that guests have a pleasant experience during their stay. Duties Perform cleaning tasks in guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces. Change bed linens and towels, ensuring all items are fresh and clean. Restock room supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and snacks as needed. Maintain cleanliness in public areas, including hallways, lobbies, and restrooms. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and high standards of cleanliness. Qualifications Previous hotel experience or custodial experience is preferred but not mandatory. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and floor care practices. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Experience in industrial cleaning or janitorial services is a plus. A background in hospitality is highly desirable, showcasing a commitment to customer service excellence. Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed while maintaining stamina throughout shifts. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
