(509) 203-9400 Role Description This is a part-time on-site role for a Housekeeping Assistant based in Pendleton, OR. The Housekeeping Assistant will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel's guest rooms and common areas. Daily tasks include making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, replenishing supplies, and ensuring high standards of hygiene throughout the hotel. The role also involves laundry duties and efficient organization. We are looking to hire one full-time worker, and one part-time worker. More details to be provided in interview! ⸻ Key Responsibilities Clean and maintain assigned guest rooms, including changing bed linens, replacing towels, restocking amenities. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, dust furniture and fixtures, vacuum, sweep and mop floors. Clean and maintain public and common areas (hallways, lobbies, restrooms) to hotel standards. Remove trash and recyclables, empty waste bins in guest rooms and public spaces. Restock housekeeping carts and supply closets; report low inventory to supervisor. Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damage in rooms or public areas. Follow hotel's policies for safety, hygiene, and infection control. Ensure that rooms are prepared timely for check‑in, coordinating with front desk/management. Maintain confidentiality of guest information and respect guest privacy. ⸻ Qualifications & Skills Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred but not required. Good attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong time management skills; able to prioritize tasks and work efficiently.
Physical stamina:
able to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift/move items (beds, carts, supplies) as needed. Basic reading, writing, and verbal communication skills. Honest, reliable, with a positive attitude and respect for guests and coworkers. ⸻ Hours & Schedule (Example / To be customized) Part‑time or Full
