Housekeeping Begin Right Employment Services - 3.9 Portland, OR Job Details Full-time $18 - $19 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Qualifications Janitorial experience Cleaning Full Job Description The Housekeeper is an integral part of our housekeeping team, responsible for maintaining a clean and pristine facility. As a Housekeeper, you'll not only ensure the cleanliness of our facilities but also play a crucial role in fostering a welcoming community for both staff and members.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Clean and disinfect various surfaces in restroom areas, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures Check and restock supplies in restrooms (soap, tissues, toilet paper, seat covers, paper towels, cologne, combs) Clean and dust offices, library, and similar areas Polish furniture and empty trash and recycling containers Manage towel distribution and collection, including transporting to laundry holding area Vacuum carpets and dust/damp mop floors in sports courts and gyms Spot wash walls in racquetball, squash, and handball courts to remove marks Conduct detail cleaning as required Work with cleaning fluids, chemicals, and agents using appropriate personal protective equipment
QUALIFICATIONS
Basic janitorial skills, including familiarity with janitorial supplies, chemicals, and equipment (preferred) High school diploma or equivalent (suggested) Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services (preferred) Interact professionally and courteously with members and employees
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs Frequent bending, squatting, climbing Ability to reach above shoulders and grasp or squeeze objects Capacity to stand and walk for every shift Work with chemicals while using appropriate protective equipment
WORK HOURS
Includes evening, weekend, and holiday shifts Flexibility to work varying schedules as needed
