We're an all-inclusive safe-space facility for all diversity, religions, and cultures Job Summary Join our dedicated Memory Care team as a Housekeeping Associate, where your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents. In this vital role, you will ensure that all living and communal spaces are maintained to the highest standards of sanitation and safety, supporting the overall well-being of our residents with compassion and professionalism. Your efforts will directly contribute to a positive living experience, fostering dignity and respect in every corner of our community. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning and disinfecting of resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and dining spaces using approved cleaning agents and techniques. Handle chemical agents safely, following OSHA guidelines and safety protocols to prevent accidents or contamination. Maintain floor care through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to ensure surfaces are spotless and hazard-free. Conduct environmental services tasks such as waste disposal, linen management, and sanitation of high-touch surfaces to uphold infection prevention standards. Use proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting of furniture, supplies, or equipment to prevent injury while maintaining efficiency. Follow strict sanitation procedures aligned with healthcare infection prevention and control practices to promote a safe environment for residents and staff. Document cleaning activities accurately in logs or reports as required by facility policies and regulatory standards. Requirements Prior janitorial or custodial experience in healthcare or commercial cleaning environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to chemical handling, safe lifting practices, and environmental safety protocols. Experience with hospital or healthcare facility cleaning standards is a strong plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to manual handling guidelines. Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
