Overview We're hiring a seasonal team member to perform both housekeeping and dishwashing duties. This position starts no later than June 5, 2026 and runs through September 6, 2026 (earlier start possible).
Compensation:
$19.00/hour. Applicants 16 years and older welcome. Schedule:

Housekeeping Housekeeping shift times Standard:
10:00 AM - 4:00 PM (minimum), Friday and Sunday Extended option: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM depending on occupancy and need Friday and Sunday availability required. Kitchen shift times Hours align with the kitchen's operational schedule (meal service). Exact schedule can be negotiated in the hiring process. Thursday and Saturday are currently suggestions/placeholders, while the Housekeeping schedule is set/required. Primary Responsibilities Combined duties include tasks from both roles. In this role, there would be distinct days dedicated to each position (only dishwashing certain days, only housekeeping certain days.) Dishwashing / Kitchen Duties (when assigned) Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, pots, pans, and utensils; maintain dishwasher area and equipment Prepare and change sanitizer buckets; maintain soap dispensers, salt/pepper, water pitchers, milk/apple buckets Empty trash/compost/recycling; scrub and return bins Sweep/mop and clean dining hall and kitchen; respond promptly to spills Support food service lines and assist kitchen staff as directed Follow sanitation/food safety procedures; maintain a current food handler card Housekeeping Duties (when assigned) Clean lodging units: bathrooms, kitchens, bunk beds, and common areas Sweep, mop, take out trash, stock and organize cleaning supplies Perform quick turn‑over cleaning between guest groups while maintaining attention to detail and sanitation standards Qualifications & Physical Requirements Age:
16+ Reliable, punctual, team‑oriented, and service‑minded attitude Ability to stand, squat, kneel, and lift/move up to 40-50 lbs frequently Willingness to follow camp mission and work respectfully within a Christian retreat setting (not limited to Christians) Food Handler Card or willingness to obtain one if assigned kitchen duties (camp can assist) Supervision & Terms Reports to: Food Service Manager (for kitchen shifts) and Head of Housekeeping (for housekeeping shifts) Term:
