Housekeeping Attendant

Rayland Hotel is currently seeking a Housekeeping Attendant to join our new team in The Dalles, OR. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment for our guests. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a strong work ethic. Must be able to work weekends.

Responsibilities:

Sanitizes and cleans rooms following housekeeping procedures Make beds and change linens as needed Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to company procedures Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing Stocks, housekeeping cart, and storage rooms Follows the safety procedures of the hotel and the handling of chemicals Notify management of any damages, deficits, and disturbances

Requirements:

Proven experience as a housekeeper or similar role Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance Customer-oriented and friendly Prioritization and time management skills Physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects Ability to lift up to 40lbs and 25lbs consistently
