Part-time Job Description:

Logan Valley Mall is looking for Janitorial and Cleaning Staff. The successful candidate will report to and assist the Mall Operations Manager in the general cleaning and upkeep of mall facilities and equipment. Under the guidance and supervision of the Mall Operations Manager, duties will include assistance in:

Responsibilities:

Ensuring that common areas of the mall are maintained clean and prepared for visitors by taking out trash, cleaning entrances, picking up litter and dusting surfaces Sweeping and mopping floors and vacuuming carpets Cleaning and sanitizing rest rooms, and restocking disposables (soap, toilet paper, paper towels) Wiping and cleaning mirrors and windows Responding to requests of emergency cleanups, when needed

Skills:

Physical condition to perform routine and/or manual tasks Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. in weight Ability to safely use standard cleaning equipment, tools and products (including chemicals) Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions Willingness to work all mall hours, including evenings, weekends and some holidays, as needed Willingness to work 28-40 hours weekly

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age to apply High School Diploma or GED, or minimum of two (2) years of related experience Background check and pre-employment drug screening required
