Hotel Housekeeper-Part time Weekends

Housekeeper We are looking to fill Part-time Housekeeper position that has potential to become full time. The position will begin with a schedule of Friday, Saturday, Sunday with the potential for addition days. The individuals' functions include but are not limited to: Answer immediately to requests from guests, as well as from other departments Maintain a safe and clean property both inside and outside Provide clean linens and towels for dirty ones Make beds, ensure bathrooms are clean, remove trash, and vacuum carpets Dust furnishings and walls and remove marks Adhere to all safety, security, and company procedures and policies Provide immediate report of any safety hazards, injuries, maintenance problem, or accidents to the supervisor Keep uniform clean and make sure to appear professional always Keep property information confidential Ensure company standards are followed in welcoming and acknowledging all guests Provide support to team to achieve common goals This is a physical job, so our housekeeping staff are required to be able to perform the following functions to meet the daily hotel demands: Without assistance, carry, place, move or lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds; with assistance for items beyond 25 pounds Strong ability to pull and push work-related equipment, such as a loaded housekeeping cart or over uneven and sloping surfaces Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and pull Ability to sit, stand, walk, or kneel for a long period of time Finally, our Housekeeping staff must posses Strong knowledge of cleaning supplies and procedures Strong ability to follow verbal instructions Ability to work independently without direct supervision Possess high school diploma or equivalent educational level Previous cleaning experience a plus
