Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and restocking supplies. Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels as needed. Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored properly after each shift. Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the appropriate department promptly. Follow established safety protocols and hygiene standards to protect yourself and guests at all times. Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans during scheduled intervals or as directed by management. Experience Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is highly desirable. Familiarity with cleaning techniques including floor care such as carpet extraction, polishing hard floors, and stain removal. Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is a plus. Knowledge of hospitality standards and customer service principles enhances your ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Previous custodial or janitorial experience in commercial or institutional settings is advantageous.
