Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Houseman to support the cleanliness and maintenance of our senior living community. The ideal candidate will possess strong custodial skills, experience in hospitality or janitorial services, and a commitment to creating a safe, welcoming environment for residents and staff alike. As a Houseman, you will play a vital role in maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of our facility. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of common areas, resident rooms, hallways, and other designated spaces to uphold high standards of hygiene and cleanliness. Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, and carpet cleaning to ensure surfaces are spotless and well-maintained. Assist with light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, tv help, hanging pictures, toilet issues, maintaining parking lot and entrances, cleaning and maintaining patio furniture and patios, reporting repairs needed, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Follow established cleaning procedures in compliance with health and safety regulations to create a safe environment for residents and staff. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, notifying management when supplies need replenishing. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within hospitality or healthcare settings. Previous hotel or senior living experience is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently while following established procedures and safety guidelines. Good communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and supervisors.
