Job Description
•This Position Currently Has A $300 Sign-On/Retention Bonus After 90 Days•Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Home Care House Cleaner to provide exceptional cleaning and household support for our clients. Our cleaners assist clients by allowing them to remain in their place of residence when they can no longer maintain a clean and orderly living environment by themselves. Regular Duties Thorough cleaning of the kitchen, including floors, appliances, countertops, etc. Thorough cleaning of bathroom(s), including tub/shower, sinks, mirrors, toilet, floors, etc. Dust and vacuum all rooms Sweep and clean all hardwood floors Shake out dust from area and throw rugs Collect and remove all trash and recyclables Wash personal and household laundry Make bed or change linens Duties Performed Upon Request Cleaning and defrosting the inside of refrigerator or freezer Cleaning the inside of oven Cleaning the inside of closets or cabinets Cleaning normal height windows or sliding doors Loading and running the dishwasher Qualifications Must have the desire to help older adults remain active and engaged in their homes and in the communnity Must be self-directed with the ability to work with little direct supervision Must be flexible and cooperative in fulfilling the obligations of the position Must understand and maintain the confidentiality procedures regarding clients Must have good communication and customer service skills Must possess a general knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment and procedures. Requirements Must be 18 years of age Must have at least 1 year of successful employment as a cleaner and/or training Must maintain good physical and mental health Must have command of the English language, both spoken and written, with the ability to read, write and comprehend written and oral instructions Must be a licensed driver with an automobile in good working condition that is insured in accordance with current state and organization requirements Must be able to receive and respond promptly to electronic correspondence Must present negative TB skin test results or a chest x-ray, and pass a pre-employment drug screen Must be able to pass all background checks, including state and federal criminal background checks Must have lived in PA for at least 2 consecutive years, or will need to pass an FBI fingerprint background check
