In-Person Competitive Salary 0 Years Experience No formal schooling No Commission 7.25 hours per week / Day, Evening, Weekend, Rotation Shift / Full-Time Description Provide a clean and sanitary environment for our residents to reside in and staff to work. Performs a variety of housekeeping duties including vacuuming, mopping, surface cleaning, dusting, changing and laundering linen (bedside curtains).

Job Summary:

Under the general supervision of the Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor, performs a variety of housekeeping activities to keep the facility clean and sanitary.

Job Requirements:

A high school diploma is preferred but not necessary Previous experience is preferred but not necessary Must be able to work in a healthcare environment and conduct themselves appropriately Support your manager and administration in implementation of the facility mission, vision, and overall goals Ability to follow instructions Ability to prioritize work assignments Ability to lift 10 to 15 pound buckets from cart to skin a minimum of 15 times a day Ability to push carts weighing up to 40 pounds in and out of resident rooms and down hallways Ability to bend at the knees, waist and neck at least 50 times a day Ability to handle chemicals safely and properly Ability to function with minimal supervision Must be able to understand infection control procedures Essential Functions Must be able to clean bed frames, dresser drawers, and closets as part of the discharge room schedule Must show respect to residents in their rooms and realize that you are in the residents home Must have the ability to recognize and report any maintenance problems Perform all duties as assigned Walking, standing, and bending most of the day Abide by the cleaning procedures Interact with other staff precautions to avoid injuries Must exhibit proper caution and skill when floors are wet and slippery Emptying waste cans and cleaning them Wet mopping floors and using "wet floor" sign where appropriate Daily cleaning and sanitizing of the atrium and dining room including furniture Daily cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms. Stocking necessary supplies in bathrooms Following housekeeping schedule for auxiliary room cleaning Proper use, care and maintenance of all supplies and equipment used in performing housekeeping duties Perform all other duties related to this position Complete all competencies and education other related duties as assigned Additional Details How To Identify Potential Job Scams
