Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team and ensure our environment remains spotless, welcoming, and comfortable. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order across various areas, creating a positive experience for guests or residents. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, bathrooms, kitchens, and other designated spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies Maintain floor care through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waxing, and polishing to ensure pristine surfaces Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests or residents Follow established safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to prevent accidents or injuries Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure timely repairs and uphold safety standards Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to sanitation and infection control practices Assist with laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and uniforms as needed Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is highly desirable Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning Previous hotel or industrial cleaning experience is a plus Familiarity with custodial procedures and equipment maintenance Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced settings Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness standards Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for long periods, and moving heavy items Join us in creating a welcoming environment where cleanliness meets excellence!
