Park Services (Housekeeping) - Splash Lagoon Erie, PA 1 DAYS AGO 22580752 Summary Erie, PA In-Person Competitive Salary 0 Months Experience No formal schooling No Commission 20.00 hours per week / Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Rotation Shift / Part-Time / Hours May Vary Description SUMMARY The Park Services Attendant performs a combination of light cleaning duties to maintain the cleanliness of Splash Lagoon, such as cleaning showers, bathrooms, and floors to ensure they are kept in a clean and orderly manner. Duties include replenishing towels, cleaning bathrooms and hallways, and vacuuming.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES, which may include, but are not limited to, the following tasks: 1. Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies. 2. Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas to meet health standards. 3. Empty wastebaskets, clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas. 4. Replenish supplies such as towels and bathroom items. 5. Keep storage areas well-stocked, clean, and tidy. 6. Dust and polish furniture and equipment. 7. Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines. 8. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers. 9. Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary. 10. Hang draperies and dust window blinds. 11. Complete daily travel paths around Splash Lagoon to ensure tidiness. 12. Maintain an environment that is both safe and pleasant for pool patrons. 13. Assist in the removal of refuse and materials in a safe manner. 14. Know and understand the uses and dangers of the chemicals used.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 1. Ability to properly and safely operate the equipment used. 2. Must be 16 years of age or older. 3. Demonstrated ability to work independently. 4. Active listening by giving full attention to others, understanding the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. 5. Ability to convey information effectively by talking to others. 6. Service orientation is a top priority, actively looking for ways to help people. 7. Social perceptiveness, being aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do. 8. Ability to instruct others on how to accomplish tasks.

Maintain a high level of customer service (Aloha Spirit). 2. Gathering information; observing, receiving, and obtaining information from all relevant sources. 3. Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships; developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time. 4. Perform general physical activities; engaging in physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
