Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our hospitality team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms, public areas, and laundry facilities. Your efforts will ensure a welcoming, comfortable environment that exceeds guest expectations and upholds our high standards of hygiene and hospitality. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment. Handle laundry operations efficiently by washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens, towels, and guest clothing with attention to detail. Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and restocking supplies. Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly stored and maintained for optimal performance. Follow health and safety guidelines rigorously to prevent accidents and maintain a hygienic workspace. Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold safety standards. Support other hospitality duties as needed to enhance overall guest satisfaction. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping within hotel or hospitality environments. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and polishing. Familiarity with laundry procedures such as operating commercial washers/dryers and handling delicate fabrics. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced settings. Knowledge of hospitality industry practices and customer service principles is preferred. Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift heavy laundry loads safely.
