Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Houseman to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our property to ensure an exceptional guest experience. Your proactive approach and dedication will help create a welcoming environment where guests feel comfortable and valued. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in hospitality, janitorial services, and property maintenance while working in a lively, team-oriented atmosphere. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene Care for floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to maintain a spotless environment Assist with furniture arrangement, replenishing supplies, and setting up event spaces as needed Conduct routine inspections of the property to identify maintenance or cleanliness issues and report them promptly Support housekeeping staff by transporting linens, cleaning supplies, and equipment around the property Maintain safety protocols during cleaning activities and ensure all areas are hazard-free Contribute to a positive guest experience by addressing special requests and ensuring all areas are welcoming and tidy Skills Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within hospitality or industrial settings Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable Excellent attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety standards Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Good physical stamina for lifting, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods Familiarity with housekeeping management practices and industrial cleaning equipment is a plus Join us as a Houseman to play a key role in delivering outstanding service through meticulous care of our property.
