Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Houseperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This position requires a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and a passion for hospitality. Duties Clean and maintain hallways, and public areas to ensure they meet the hotel's cleanliness standards. Change bed linens, towels, and other linens as needed. Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces. Vacuum carpets and clean floors using appropriate equipment. Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens in rest rooms. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Assist with laundry duties as required. Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to ensure guest safety. Operation of the hotel shuttle. Seasonal duties such as snow removal and watering of flowers and patio clean up. Trash removal. Must be at least 21 yrs of age with valid drivers license able to drive our complimentary guest shuttle Skills Experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is preferred. Knowledge of housekeeping management practices within the hospitality industry. Strong attention to detail with an ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated time frames. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
