Hotel Housekeeper

Duties Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas to ensure a spotless environment. Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish amenities such as towels and toiletries to enhance guest comfort. Perform floor care duties including vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining cleanliness of all surface areas. Handle industrial cleaning tasks when necessary, including deep cleaning of carpets, upholstery, and high-touch surfaces. Maintain organized storage of cleaning supplies and equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold hotel standards. Assist with general custodial duties around the hotel premises to support overall cleanliness and safety. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or housekeeping within a hotel or hospitality setting is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods. Previous hotel experience or familiarity with hospitality industry standards is advantageous. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role. Prior custodial or housekeeping management experience is a plus but not required.
